Potato Rounders


It isn't everyday that I feel like eating pasta or rice , as I like to do more and be more creative as I find new recipes to cook.

And today was one of those days as I decided to do something different for lunch.

This is a very simple dish and can be used with any meat or salad of your preference and I must also add that it taste really great.

This recipes consists of ...
English Potatoes.
Salt.
Flour.
Black pepper.
And you can add additional parsley flakes to give it that seasoned look.

Pototoes are cooked and mashed with ingredients of salt to taste and blackpepper to spice it up, at this point you can add some parsley flakes or marjaram to give it an extra boost of taste fusion.

Add flour and mix contents into a thick dough, scooping out some dough you can then begin to make rounded pieces of patty shapes with a cookie cutter or patty cutter. 

In a frying pan heat some cooking oil or butter, place potatoe rounds into hot pan and fry until golden brown and crispy.

As I said, this is a very tasty recipe and can be added as a side dish or full dish for stews or salads.

As the taste and texture of the potatoe rounders just adds a crunchy delight and enjoyment to your meal .

Chicken Soup




Nothing is better than real good homemade chicken soup :) and today I did just that, made myself some good chicken soup :))

Everyone cook soup but soup comes in many consistency when you ask some individuals, but my thing is a soup can not be a soup without dumplings :)) that is the best ingredient of the soup :)

As I was saying; some individuals do broth and call it soup which it is not, broth is just water in a pan with ingredients cook a few minutes to get a taste.

Soup on the other hand is sweet, mellow, creamy, tasty, it's filled with ingredients and that is boiled down to a semi-thick consistency that makes it not only look but taste like soup.

I did chicken soup and the ingredients I used were vegetable ground provisions and chicken, these ingredients gave me five servings.

Ingredients for Soup...
Half of a chicken is cut into small pieces.
Four English Potatoes.
1 Medium Sweet Potatoe.
Half Cup of Split Peas.
1/2 lb of Pumpkin.
8 Medium Okras Slice.
1 Onion Slice.
1 Sweet Pepper Slice.
5 Garlic Pods finely dice.
Marjoram
Basil.
Chives.
Thyme.
Salt to taste.

For the Dumplings.
Whole Wheat or all-purpose flour can be used.
1/2 Cup of flour.
Pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder.
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.
1/4 teaspoon of spice.
1Tsp of sugar.
Water to mix.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl add water to get dough, make sure that the dough is not too wet if it just adds a bit of flour to dry it out to maintain the thick dough texture.

You can the dumplings however you want, I like to do little dumpling balls as it's easier to handle in the soup as to eat, and presentation-wise they look good :)


For the soup, all ingredients are added to a saucepan with medium water, place on the heat, and let it cook for 15 minutes.

 After 15 minutes the soup's consistency should be a semi-thick fusion consisting of all the ingredients which by now you will see soften and break away to make up the soup.

At this stage, you can add the dumplings and leave them to cook for another 10 minutes that will allow the dumplings to cook through and fuse with the ingredient's taste.

Serve Hot.

Banana Cinnamon Oats Ice Shaker


Banana Cinnamon Oats Ice Shaker.

This is my breakfast that I just did, I really felt like using something different this morning instead of the usual breakfast regime of eggs, toast etc.

This recipe is so tasty and as long as you have the ingredients it will be a blast :)) meaning a good treat of course :))

Ingredients consists of...

2 Bananas
Oats ( powder or whole )
Milk (of your preference)
Sesame Seeds ( seeds or nuts of your preference)
Cinnamon
Ice Cubes.
Little Or No Sweetener as the Bananas already maintains the sweetner.

Method...

In a blender place two bananas, milk, cinnamon, sesame seeds, icecubes, oats and blend , you can add more ice cubes to get the right consistancy if more is needed and serve :)



Add a pinch of Cinnamon and Sesame Seeds or grated nuts on the top.

Boat Potatoes Sailing In Chicken Stew :)


This recipe was fun :)) it even had a little sail :))

This of course is such an easy recipe, the main aspect of it is the stew and you can use any stew you want to add as the contents of the boat.

You need to get some large potatoes about four will do for four individuals as one can be very fulfilling.



Cut out the middle of the potatoe in a boat like way leaving enough room for the stew to hold.

With this method you can cook the potatoes first and then scoop it out or you can remove the inside and then cook the potatoes either way will be your preference to do.

Adding the stew is as easy as it gets, place the finish potatoes in a plate and serve.

This recipe you can also play along with in terms of doing more with it.

You can put the potatoes in the oven for a few minutes to get a golden crust, then you can add the stew.

Well for me any method works out great as you can see this recipe was and is another favourite of mine and it taste very good :))

Split Peas And Rice ,Chicken Stew ,Plaintain And Okra


This is a yummy recipe :)) I like to use split peas when I'm doing any kind of stew, I find that the split peas adds an extra superior taste to the entire recipe.

This I just cooked and Yes! I ate, actually this is my share :)).

And you know before I sit down and make myself comfortable with this so good tasting meal I have to do my picture bit to share to all :)

This recipe is very easy to do,and as I said in the beginning it's the amount of time on the heat and the ingredient's fusion that gives the stew it's taste and consistency to be considered a stew.

Not everyone do stews the stew was,some individuals like to skip some finishing methods and base with flour which on my part is a no,no.

Stews are not supposed to look like broth or soup,there is a different consistency when it comes to making real stews.

Stew Lamb Chops With Stew Potatoes.



This recipe is so mouth watering and it taste so good, I always have  to watch myself when I'm cooking it, or I may end up eating all myself :))

As always this is a very easy recipe and it consist of very little effort or energy I must say.

The only energy you will be using is consuming this delicious food :))

With this recipe you need some...
Lamb Chops
Thyme.
Black pepper.
Curry.
Onion Sliced
Garlic Grater,sliced or diced
Marjaram Shredded
Carrots Diced or sliced
Sweet pepper Diced or sliced
Salt to taste.
Ketchup.

And of course you can add any other seasonings as choice,as the more seasonings the better the fusion and taste.

All ingredients are cleaned,peel, chopped,diced and added to a saucepan with water that just covers the meat,try not to put to much water as the gravy will take a while to simmer down to it's consistancy.
As always when you're making stews, the longer it stays on the heat to boil down the better the consistancy and taste.

Never tried the easy out method of basing your stews or gravy with flour, that is a big no, no as it just makes the gravy so milky and the taste is never the same.

As all ingredients cook along together they always fuse perfectly,you can add a pinch of salt if it needs more taste which in fact most of the time it does'nt because the ingredients with the meat creates it's own salt.

Tuna -rice Carroty With Sides

This is another delicious recipe for those individuals who feel like eating something different other than meat.

This recipe I did today for lunch and of course it was delicious and I ate every bit :)

This dish consist of tuna, carrot rice, sweet pototoe and plantain and it is so easy to prepare anyone can do it as long as the ingredients is available for use.

Making the tuna sauce is very easy as all you need to do is in a small pan fry some onions , thyme, sweet peppers, garlic, marjaram,chives and of course you can add what other seasonings you like, ketchup ,black pepper and a pinch of curry .

This sauce thicken very fast so keep check on the heat and the time of consistent cooking.

As always the plaintain and the sweet potatoe has a very easy preperation as it's peel wash cut and cook Yes! The PWCC of fast cooking.  :)

And the carrot rice is no exception as it's take out enough rice for the servings, wash and cook, carrots are grated about one will do and added to the rice along with chives, onion, thyme, salt and marjaram and you can add your preference of other seasonings or vegetables to make the rice more exciting ,  so with all the ingredients cook until tender, and serve.

Sugar 'n ' Cinnamon Wheels

Well a little idea and I have just made another new recipe, one that the kids in fact everyone will enjoy.

These sugar 'n' cinnamon wheels are very easy to make and it is easy clean up after wards.

I was going to make pancakes but then I decided to try something new, and that  I sure did :)

I don't like to used ready made pancake mix I prefer to do everything on my own, so instead of making the pancakes I decided on this new recipe, and doing so , I did not used the eggs for the mixture I just used flour, baking powder, salt, spice, cinnamon, water and sugar.

All ingredients I blend together to get the right mixture for the wheel consistancy, without the egg, the mixture is going to be just right and not to soft.

When everything is mixed together make sure that the mixture holds onto the spoon when you scoope it up falling gradually with ease.

If it is to thick you can minimized the thickness by adding some water, this recipe can be baked or fried it depends on your preference of choice.

On the stove heat a frying pan or a cookie pan if you are using the oven that is, , place oil or pastry butter, if you don't have a nozzle cake syringe piping gun or a piping bag you can make your own with a new ziplock  bag and cut the corner to get the piping effect.

Just fill the mixture in the instrument that you are using and in the hot pan discard the contents of the mixture making a circle motion as to make the wheel design .

When you have made the adequate amount that you need let it bake or fry until golden brown, it frays and bakes very fast so keep close attention on it.

When the wheels are finished place them on a plate and sprinkle some cinnamon and icing sugar or white sugar on them again your preference of course.

You can also add fruit in the middle and make a fun plate :)

These are so delicious I ate a plate with seven myself, they were so soft fresh and crunchy and so tasty this recipe is for sure going to be a hit with me :) meaning I am going to really work with this recipe and do more with it :) it has great potential :))

Beet Juice.


Beet Juice.

What can I say about this vegetable? I just like it so much it is a favourite of mind and it reminds me of a heart and the rich color of blood.

Beets are very healthy and essential and it add so much benefits to the body.

I just made myself a beet juice and just it was so delicious tasty and healthy :)

You can juice the beets or blend them into a smootie , any how you prepare it it is just delicious.
I like to grate my beets and eat them as a salad , but I'm doing the beet drink talk so I will continue as such. :)

Beets are high in immune boosting with Vitamin C, fibre and essential minerals like potassium and manganese.

Beets contain the Vitamin B folate which helps nature the risk of blood defects.
PPotassium is essential for healthy nerve and muscle function.

And manganese is good for bones, liver, kidneys and pancreas.

So when ever you feel like having a drink think about the healthy benefits of natural vegetables when made into drinks.

And try some vegetables today, let a beet drink satisfy day day :)

Hog Plum Drink


Hog Plum Drink.

By no means is a hog involved as it's just the name of the plum :)) and they come in different colors a bigger version that ripens red and this one that ripens with an orange skin.

Both are available here on the island and this orange kind is the first that I have come across so far and Yes! I put my juice works to the test :)

Well this little fruit has a very big seed and at first when I decided to make the drink I was thinking about just peeling the fruit meat off the seed and blend but iI had so many plums so I decided to blend them instead.

But then I looked at the blender and decided to give it a try, and you know what? It worked, dispute the way my blender seemed to want to joggle off the counter :)).

I must say here! Try not to put to many plums in the blender as to much will be heavy on the blades.

If you're having seconds thoughts just peel the fruit meat off the seeds and then blend, to your consistency of preference that is if you want a smoothie or drink, and by the way may I add that the smoothie is tasty as well :))

Blending the fruit as I said is a challenge so you have to do less fruit, take out the seeds from the blender and gradually proceed to blend some more and continue until all the plums are undress of their fruity meat skins.

Strain juice into another jug and after washing the blender place some ice cubes and pour back the strain plum juice.

At this stage you can sweeten if it's your preference or just leave it the natural way , I may also add that both ways are tasty :)

Blend well with ice and serve :) This is a tasty drink Enjoy! :))

Chow Mein With Blue Marlin Sautéed.


This is a so welcoming dish, I just cook it and the recipe I have, like always decide to share its very easy to prepare and you can use the fish of your preference, I like Blue Marlin its very tender sweet and fresh .

The chowmein is prepared its normal way and with mine I did a sweet pepper stir fry to get the colors fused with the yellow of the chowmein.

The fish I prepared salted and season well and with some flower gentle coat, always remember that fish cook very fast and the longer it stays on the heat the more the fish cooks and when frying it tends to get very tough so monitor your fish when you are cooking it.

After frying the fish, just to get a softly golden coat on both sides placed them on a dish and begin with my sauteed sauce.

Before you start to make the sauce take some of the oil out the frying pan just leave in enough to sizzle down your greens and seasonings of sweet peppers, garlic, thyme, marjaram, and onions .

Pour in some water about half a large glass and add blackpepper, curry, ketchup, and a pinch of a seasoning cube.

Leave on a high heat and let sauce minimized to a thick consistancy, taste and add salt if needed as the breakdown of the fused ingredients normally produced they own salt so llittle salt will be needed.

Turn down heat and place fry fish in the sauce to be slightly sauteed, at this point you can turn off heat and just leave the fish to soak up the sauce, which make it tender soft delucious and sweet :)

 Next step is to prepare dishes and serve lunch :) Enjoy!

With its meaty flesh it juiced or blend very well as you get a tasty drink with an easy method and you don't have to hardly think as this drink is make so fast you would only have time for a few winks :))

My friends Like this drink and I make it a lot as long as I can get hold of the fruit, it can be lightly sweeten or you can used it the natural way.

Its summer and natural juices aafter water of course is great for everyone ,there are very healthy Yes! Always good for the body.

And Its a healthy way to show love to all those to whom you care to give them good natural healthy drinks instead of sodas that only makes the body sick.

So try this drink when you come across the fruits your body will definitely appreciated you :) 

Pomegranate Drink.


Pomegranate Drink what a natural taste. This pleasant fruit makes a tasty drink, and its very healthy to.

Its summer and this drink can really quench the thirst,very easy to prepare,as all you have to do is to cut the fruit in half and take out all the seeds from his honey comb like bed.

Place them in a blender and blend until all the fruit is off the seed ,with no mess just a simple strainer will do the rest to get all the bits and pieces out .

It best when serve chill and can be added to other juices as a fusion for a better taste of exoctic fruit juices.

This is the second time that I have made this drink and its worth the making as your taste buds ,mouth and stomach will be so appreative after the drinking :))

The fruit is ssometimes hard to find but when I find them pomegranate drink will be my drink for a home held lime.

Try this drink sometime I know that you will enjoy its taste as its just the meat on the seedsbeing blend and all the seeds can go in the garden to make more fruit trees for days :)

Ginger really makes a healthy drink and you can leave it plain mixed in some sugar or honey to make it sweet.
Me! I just add a little pinch to givd it the taste that I want then in my mouth and down my stomach all disappears and is gone :)

Lemonade


Lemonade.

This is the cooler of all drinks after water that is :)) it really quench the thirst on a hot star my day, and Yes! You can find lemons or limes in supermarkets or markets every where.
As i said before i like to make juices of all kibds and limes i use to make my lemonade and placed them in the fridge for the hot of day :) rhyming? Yes! That is what I also do as I write my blog post to entertain and empower you :))
Parents with the heat of some days lemonade after water of course is the best drink to give to family or others to drink it's taste is tantalizing good .
So when the hot days come around just look for some limes or lemons in supermarkets around and make this tasty and cooling drink ,it's not to acid as long as you make it with the right consistancy of sweet :) 

Mango Juice






Mango Juice.

Hmm! Delicious to the taste, pretty in sight,smell so exoctic and rich in flavor a sweet drink to taste.
Mango is plentiful around this time on the island and I just make juice drinks and store in the fridge.
This is an easy business for any young person what once to own their own business as they can make the juice bottle it tag it and sell it to neighbours and friends by orders.
But as I said it's delicious to the taste and it's healthy to, and instead of the consumption of soda drinks with gas that leaves one feel all bloated you can substitute fruits or vegetables and make heathly drinks for all to enjoy and your bodies will really thank you for it in the long run and Yes! After the mouth has tasted it :)

Egg Omelette


Egg Omelette.

Egg! Substance in a liitle shell that is delicious to the taste, and can be prepared any way your preference demands.
I did this omlette and I add some fusion of taste with these sweet peppers ,garlic and onion , and Yes! It tasted very well as the burst of flavors of the ingredients pulsated in my mouth :)
An easy dish delight that is prepared fast and easy without any mess in the kitchen :)

Meat And Vegetables Stir Fry Chow Mein


Meat And Vegetable Stir Fry Chow Mein.

This meat vegetables chow mein dish i just finished and not only I am satisfied and full but I musvegetasautéed howmein to do the finished dish. do some more another day :)) Delicious? Yes! Very much so! :))

This is a fast tasty dish that can be done by anyone and it does'nt called for cooking skills as it takes wise thinking and an eye for detail.


This recipe is done in three stages the first one is the meat stew ,the vegetables chowmein stir fry and then the combining of the stew into the vegetables chowmein.

Ingredients For the Meat Stew.

1 Sweet Pepper Chopped
1 Onion Chopped
Thyme 
Marjaram
3Garlic Pods Chopped
1/2 TBS Curry
1/2 TBS Food Browing
1/2 TBS Cooking Butter 
1/2 TBS Black Pepper
1/2 Cup Ketchup
1/2 Cup Worchester sauce
Minced beef Or meat of your preference.

In a sausepan add meat and let it cook for 5 minutes until fully cooked, add garlic onion , thyme, marjaram , sweet pepper, black pepper, butter, ketchup, food browning, worcester sauce and curry and stir to mix all ingredients into meat well.




Leave to cook for 2 minutes over a very low heat, you can drain off any access oil before you add it into the stir fry as cooking the meat tend to form much oil.

In a saucepan cook the chowmein for three minutes and drain, in a wok place butter garlic onions beets carrots marjaram thyme sweet pepper and let sautee for 2 minutes.

Add chow mein and stir fry over a low heat, at this point you can add the meat stew distributing it all over the chowmein to get it all mix in .

Curried Chicken.



Curried Chicken.

Curried Chicken tastes very nice and when the preperation is really up to standard it's a really fulfiling meal.

Curried Chicken is a favourite of mine and I cook it all the time I just like the savoury taste and eating it i take my time to taste the full fusion as eating I'm never in a haste :)

The thing about Curried Chicken is that it should always have it's texture as no watery stew will do, and some individuals can prepare this Yes! Only a few.

The base must be thick as to give the chicken grounding to make the fusion work stands for much handling.

Curried Chicken...

Ingredients..
1 Whole Chicken Clean and cut into small pieces.
Two Potatoes of average size dice.
1 Onion Chopped or Diced
3 Large Galic Pods Cjopped or Diced
Thyme.
Marjaram.
1 Medium size Sweet Pepper Chopped Or diced
1/2 TBS Salt to taste 
2) 25g Packs of Curry 
1/2 TBS Black Pepper
1/2 Cup Ketchup
1/2 Cup Cooking Butter

Method..
Prepare a large saucepan over the heat, place  butter and let it melt take a spoon and stir butter to make sure that it has been distributed all inside of the sauce pan.

Add 1pack of curry into melted butter and stir to even out the curry , add chopped garlic and stir as garlic flavor will get absorb in the butter with the curry.

Add diced onion, sweet peppers, thyme, marjaram , black pepper, ketchup and combine all ingredients with a stirring method.

Pour water in the saucepan to cover the chicken do not put to much as you don't want the curry to watery so just maintain a soak look .

Leave to cook for 15minutes on high heat , after 15-20 minutes curry should be well based so you can add salt to taste as the ingredient's fusion will bring in it's taste so little salt is needed.

Check Curry stew as by now it should be well cooked based and smelling so good :)) lower heat and let curry stew simmer to a thicker base.

As the ingredients along with the right cooking method time is what also helps to make the thickness of base to come in.

This Curried Chicken can give four to five servings and Yes! You're going to enjoy it every time because it taste very natural yummy and good.

I am a cook that like to use the natural cooking ingredients when it comes to seasonings etc, I don't ever do package garlic thyme marjaram etc because I find that those ingredients leaves the foods with a very toxic artifical taste and smell and that I don't like.

When I'm cooking my neighbours can smell my cooking and Yes! It smell mouth watering :)) 

One day I was cooking and my son was on his way home and when he got into the house he said " Mom I can smell your cooking all down the road :)) and it smell so good where is mine I'm ready to eat!" :))

Yes! And that I like, you know! While taking walks going through the neighbourhood I could smell the sense of food cooking and Oh what a delight as my nose can identity each ingredient that is being used to make those terrific good smelling stews taste just right :))

A lot of older ppeople live in my neighbourhood,you know! The ones that cook real soul foods :) and a lot of family get togethers are always happening so of course you would know that good stews food etc will be preparing :))

And may I add that that kind of cooking the soul food way as thry call it is very tasty and good ,as it doesn't smell like artificial ingredients that makes the sinuses burn it just smells like real good cooked stews food etc that will make the stomach hungrily burn :))

Coconut Cake.


Coconut Cake.

This is the first time that I baked coconut cake as I normally bake coconut macaroons and instead of doing them I decided to do a cake which by the way came out so soft and delicious that I have decided to bake some more :))

Ingredients...

1 Coconut Grated Or Juiced
2  1/2 Cups of flour
2 1/2 Cups of Coconut Milk
1/2 Cup of Sugar
1/2 TBS Spice
1/2 Cup Butter Cut in half

Method...

In a bowl combine grated coconut , spice, coconut milk, sugar and mix until all ingredients are well blended and sugar has disolved.

Pour in coconut milk, I normally juiced my coconut as to get the fresh milk from it to use , and I find that the coconut milk really make the cake taste delicious :)

When all iingredients have been mixed well add flour gradually to get the right consistency, don't make it to tight as the flour usage is just a mete means to hold the coconut while it bakes so that it wouldn't fall apart when finished.

So gradually add flour and mix well add more coconut milk if you have to as the milk will make the mixture set to the right consistency and you can do a test with a spoon etc , just take up some of the mixture and let it fall off the spoon, you don't want it to watery just right with a drip but also a sturdy lift that holds onto the spoon.

So when you have achieved that you're mixture is ready to be paned to bake, so now you're going to prepare a baking dish, you should still have some of the butter left over so just take off a piece and base your baking dish, making sure that all space is covered with butter.

Sprinkle some flour in the dish and while holding the dish shake it around until all the flour has been distributed all over the butter in the dish, shake out any remaining and throw away.

Now you are ready for the mixture, I like to base my baking dish with butter and flour as to stop cakes etc from burning .

So in the prepared dish pour all the mixture and let it settle, and bake for about 10-15 mminutes on medium heat.

The coconut cakes bakes very fast so keep check on it and test the middle with a toothpick to make sure that the inside is baked, you can let it baked until golden brown that's when it's finished.

Let cake cool and topple onto a serving dish, cut to preferred slices and served with fruit  whip cream. Enjoy!  :)

Scrambled Eggs With Carrot And Sweet Pepper .

Ingredients....
3 Eggs
1/2 TBS Black Pepper
1/2 TBS Salt
1 Small Sweet Pepper 
1 Small Carrot
1 Small Onion 
Diced,Grater or Chop Onion Carrot and Pepper to your preference.

Egg is so much individual's favourite and Yes! I like myself some eggs, whether they are scrambled, fried , boiled or omeletated :)) 

I just got home from work and it's rather late, a heavy dinner now will be to much on my stomach so I have decided to again do some thing light.

I prepared scrambled eggs for my son Yes! His favourite egg style preperation and I settled for a vegetable flaplet, :) I called it a "Flaplet!" because it's done just like an omelet but more ingredients is added and when finished is folded Instead.

The scrambled eggs of course is really easy to do, as it's just eggs whisked in a bowl until a frothy consistancy with salt and black pepper added to taste onion,carrot and sweet pepper is diced into small pieces and added to egg mixture.

And with scrambled eggs you can do more color variation as you can add more colored vegetables if you want to, so the method goes like this.

In a hot pan with cooking butter melted add all the egg mixture and stir, keep stirring the mixture as it's going to start to cook and harden so you have to keep watch over it to know when the stiring method must be applied to get the scrambled look as leaving it unattended will make the mixture cook and form into big lumps of egg.

So keep stiring and the mixture will have the scrambled indentified look, as to be Yes!  Scrambled egg :)

When egg is done cooking and it has maintained the texture and the scramble look of your preference turn off the heat and take the pan off the stove.

Serve on a plate and you can garnish with vegatables to give that colorful appealing look to make your scramble egg stand out. Enjoy! :) 

 Vegetable Egg Flaplet...

Ingredients.
3 Eggs
1 Small Onion
1 Small Sweet Pepper
Marjaram 
Thyme
1small Garlic Pod
1/2 TSP of Black Pepper.
1/2 TSP of Salt
Diced, Grated or chop vegetables to your preference.


In a bowl prepare three eggs whisked until you get a frothy consistancy, add all ingredients and stir in to and mixed well.

In a large hot pan put I tea spoon of cooking butter and let it melt, when the butter is all melted add egg mixture, and at this point there will be a need to hold the pan and in a circular motion of movement let the mixture filled the pan to get the pan shape and to let the mixture cook evenly.

With an egg fry holder you can check the egg around under the edges to make sure that it is cooked well.

When the first side is cooked flip the egg to let the other side cook as wwell as eggs takes like less than 5mins to cook.

When both sides are well cooked you can either fold it in the pan or take it out and fold it on a plate.

With a knife cut finished egg flaplet into desired cuttlets garnish with thyme and marjaram and serve .  Enjoy!  :)

Pasta veg La Tunal



Pasta Veg La Tunal ..This is a very simple food recipe to make and Yes! It taste very good ,this recipe in the image I did for my son and I for dinner after I came home from work.

To tell the truth I wanted another serving to eat but i did just enough for two and seeing it was rather late I decided to leave it until another day .

But Yes! This recipe is very easy to make and the ingredients are very easy to find.

Pasta of your choice tuna vegetables and seasonings for taste.

I like to grater or chop my vegetables into medium pieces so that they would stick out in color when I add them to the pasta.

This one that I prepared I used carrots sweet pepper thyme and marjoram as it was a bit late and I did not want to make a heavy meal.

But normally all kinds of vegetables can be used to really make it look like edible art :)).

This is my preparation method as I prepare this recipe...
Cook pasta of your choice to a consistency of cooking texture ,you must remember never to over cook pasta as pasta cooks very fast and over cooking it will make the recipe look to soggy .

Chop grater or diced the vegetables of your choice using your preference of cutage.

In a small sauce pan put some butter I used low cal butter as for oil I hardly use as I prefer the consistency and flavor that butter adds to the onion garlic thyme parsley etc when frying .

Add tuna into saucepan with chop onion garlic thyme parsley marjoram and what ever else you want to add.

Let everything cook blend ingredients and and seasoned to taste with salt add some ketchup and let tuna with ingredients cook on a low heat as it's going to get think very fast and you don't want it to burn.

Drain out most of the water from pasta and add chop vegetables and let everything slimmer over a low heat to soften harder vegetables.

Some of the softer vegetables will cook fast just by the steam from the pasta so make sure that pot in on very low heat.

By now the tuna stew vegetables and pasta  should be finished so just take it off the heat.

And there are two ways you can serve this either a mix up with tuna stew where as you just pour all the tuna stew into the pasta with vegetables or you serve the vegetable pasta and just spooned on the tuna stew on top.

But either way it's still very tasty :) Enjoy!
