Making Food's Appearance Appealing






I work in a multi shopping mall with over two hundred stores and restaurants are based there as well.

And walking around and observing I realized that some don't know about food presentation.

As just strolling by as a potential customer or just looking to see what catches the eyes nose and mouth.

It's never anything to satisfy then eyes as everything just looks like a big dump of food thrown in containers.

No presentation no art no succulent smell no dripping of the taste buds,just a look of discontentment on your face as you pass and go another place.

Food That Makes The Stomach Thankful.

I'm a very gifted individual and one of my passions is cooking and seeing individuals enjoy tasty well cooked food.

And today I've decided to get my cooking blog up and cooking if you know what I mean :)

I will be also posting my own recipes of which I have quite a few.

This blog is about real cooking Yes! Food that have taste that appeals to the eyes mouth nose and stomach.

Satisfying foods that when tasted always makes the stomach thankful and Yes! Wanting more :)

Everyone likes to eat and eating satisfying dishes of foods that is prepared well is a must.

I can say that in my life of experiencing different foods from restaurant s etc I have never tasted foods that can compare to mine.

Not that I'm blowing my own horn but I'm telling the truth.

I am a self taught cook and my way of preparing and cooking food whether  it's stews pasta rice pies or a simple breakfast or drinks is greatly done.

Everyone always likes to comment on the unique and wonderful taste and Yes! More is always asked for :)

I'm a cook/chef and I have a passion for cooking as I love to see and know that I'm preparing foods to the best of my ability to make sure that who ever is eating it is greatly satisfied.


I look at food as art and each piece of vegetable etc is the paint and I make  a picture of edible succulent food.


When I'm preparing lunch etc I'm always making art and my son is like " Mom you don't have to do that fancy thing I'm not in a restaurant". :)) 


But you know it's just my way of preparations that I'm accustomed to.


The first time that I ever cook in my life was at the age of eight Yes! Eight and I did some rice and fish and as a beginner it was very tasty. :)


 It was my mother brother and I and my mom was sick on that day and deep within me I knew that I had to cook something and that I was going to do it right and I did, I was guided to cook that day and I thank my guide for putting me on the right cooking path, that allow me to sufficiently help my self and family :)


And after that there was no stopping me as I never asked anyone to teach me as my grand mom would chase everyone out her kitchen when she was cooking :))


And I never watched my mom as I was caught up in being a child playing games and studying.


But my cooking abilities were always there and just like my writing it evolved with time and experience and as I continue to try more and more I got better at it until I became the best :)


Now I'm the best cook in my family consisting of four girls including myself :)


Whenever we would have a get together I will be the cook doing the cooking and you know why? It's just that my cooking was satisfying prepared well and everyone enjoyed eating it and Yes! They did asked for more.  :))


And as I said I'm a master when it comes to cooking and stews I do so well.


So when I go out and to tell the truth I'm a person that don't like to do much eating out as I prefer to do my own cooking as most of the times the foods at these places are never enjoyable for my taste.


I'm not a fry person Yes! I may fry once in a while if my son insists he wants it but I tend to stay away from all the oil.


Stews are better as you can taste every ingredient's fusion with the meats that gives it a well satisfying taste.


You see cooking stews just takes patience and an eye for detail to know time preparation.


Some cooks are always in a hurry and they try to minimize the time for stews by basing it with flour,which just gives it a white murky look taste and sometimes you can see the flour just floating around.


Which I don't like and I can tell the difference when a stew is laced with flour as a base.


And then there are individuals who just wouldn't let the stews cook and boil down on their own to get the right consistency for the stew.


And the stews just end up looking like water with meat and other floating in it and that is a no no!


Stews take time and it's the contents that has to stay to be cooked well as to maintain the stew look taste appearance and smell.


Anything that is supposed to be stew and doesn't look or taste like stew is just broth and a lot of broth I've seen lately described as stews.


And that is how I feel about it when I see stews that doesn't in no way look taste appear or smell like stews.
